FAQs About Our Prague Tours & Day Trips

Everything You Need to Know Before Booking Your Tour

Your Questions Answered — So You Can Book with Confidence

Thinking of joining us but have a few questions before booking? You’re not alone. We’ve gathered the most common questions we hear from travelers and answered them in one place — honestly, clearly, and with a touch of local insight. Whether you’re considering a small-group experience or a private tour, we’re here to make your planning easy.

Yes — life happens! For small-group tours, you’ll get a full refund if you cancel more than 24 hours in advance.

For private tours and day trips, we offer:

  • Full refund if you cancel more than 21 days in advance
  • 50% refund if you cancel between 21 days and 72 hours before
  • No refund if you cancel less than 72 hours before the tour
  •

Small-group tours: Max 10 people, to keep it personal and engaging. Unlike big tour companies, we keep our groups small on purpose — so you get a personal, tailored experience every time.

Private tours: You decide! For groups larger than 15, we typically split into smaller groups with separate guides to maintain quality.

Small-group tours are capped at 10 guests, perfect for solo travelers, couples, or small friend groups who enjoy meeting others.

Private tours are just for you and your group — ideal for families, corporate groups, or travelers who want full flexibility. All private tours include a hotel pick-up, and you can choose your own starting time and tailor the experience to your specific needs and interests.

You can join our small-group tours up to 1 hour before the start, as long as the tour is running and still has space. Private tours need to be booked at least 24 hours in advance so we can properly prepare your experience.

All tours must be fully paid for before the start. You can pay securely online by credit card at the time of booking. For private tours and custom experiences, you also have the option to pay a 200 EUR deposit upfront — we’ll remind you to settle the remaining balance closer to your tour date.

Tipping is never expected, but always appreciated. If you had a great time, a tip is a lovely way to say thanks. If something didn’t meet your expectations, we’d prefer to hear your feedback instead.

Comfort is key on our tours, so we recommend wearing shoes that can handle Prague’s famous cobblestones and dressing for the weather – an umbrella or a raincoat is always a good idea. Don’t forget to bring your camera and a refillable water bottle to stay hydrated!

We run tours rain or shine — and some of our most atmospheric experiences happen under an umbrella! We recommend checking the weather and dressing accordingly. Your guide will always adapt the route if needed.

Most of our tours are suitable for all ages. That said, if you’re traveling with young kids, seniors who may need a slower pace, or anyone needing special attention, we highly recommend a private tour. That way, we can go at your pace and make the experience more comfortable for everyone.

We do our best to accommodate dietary needs, but if you have several allergies or complicated restrictions, a private tour is the safest and most enjoyable choice. This gives us the flexibility to tailor the food stops to your needs.

That said, we’re unfortunately unable to accommodate vegan diets or guests who are fully lactose-intolerant, as many traditional Czech dishes are cooked with butter or dairy products, and suitable alternatives are very limited.

Most of our walking tours include cobblestone streets and mild inclines. If you have accessibility needs, let us know in advance, and we’ll do our best to adapt the route or recommend the most suitable option for your group.

For guests with more significant mobility issues or those using a wheelchair, we recommend our Prague by Car Tour — a fully wheelchair-accessible experience that allows you to enjoy the city comfortably and at your own pace.

All our tours are perfect for first-time visitors, but the Private Prague City Tour: Best Sights, Hidden Gems & Lunch is a great starting point. It covers all the key historical areas in one day and includes a local lunch, so you’ll even get a little taste of Czech cuisine.

If you’re a foodie, our Prague Food Tour: Traditional Czech Cuisine in the Old Town is a must. It combines sightseeing with traditional flavors and hidden gems in the heart of Prague.

No matter which tour you choose, all of them are designed to feel like spending a day with a local friend, not following a flag.
